The Axis  setup, with no shim, is meticulously designed to suit the needs of the majority of riders. Responding to popular demand, Axis has introduced a shim kit for those inclined to explore diverse setups. The kit comprises six shims—three Positive (+0.25, +0.5, +1.0) and three Negative (-0.25, -0.5, -1.0)—allowing users to experiment with various angles by stacking them accordingly.

Integrating a Positive shim, termed so because it increases the angle between the front and back wing (usually achieved by lifting the back of the rear wing), proves beneficial for heavier riders seeking enhanced front foot pressure, albeit with a potential decelerating effect.

Conversely, incorporating a Negative shim, named for its role in decreasing the angle between the front and back wing (typically achieved by lifting the front of the rear wing), is advantageous for lighter riders. This reduces front foot pressure and can contribute to increased speed.

Keep in mind: Utilize 25mm M6 Bolts to securely fasten the rear wing when employing shims.
