Directional Rocker makes it easy to butter or stomp and the Traction Tech provides confident stability riding through tech terrain or unexpectedly rough snow conditions. On the skin track back up, the inner edge Traction Tech adds serious grip. Though the price is right, the Explorer Split doesn’t skimp on performance features. The Sintered 7000 base is hyper fast and factory waxed with Wend Natural Wax. The Explorer Split also features an ECO-plastic topsheet made from castor beans for added ECO-performance.
A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.
Jones Nomad Skins with Quick Tension Tail Clip

Jones Nomad Climbing Skins eliminate this issue as these 70% Mohair / 30% Synthetic Nylon skins offer the perfect balance of glide and grip. The premium natural mohair fibers deliver unmatched glide in any snow condition because they remain soft and flexible at any temperature. The nylon fibers provide extra traction when the skin track gets steep or icy. Skin fibers are also coated with EVER DRY Anti-glopping treatment to improve performance in wet snow and keep your skins dry lap after lap.
The Quick Tension Tail Clip is a lightweight tail clip system. Jones splitboards have a notch cut into the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip to simply slide into the notch and secure the skin. New for 2018, the Quick Tension Clip has been completely redesigned and now features a durable rubber tail strap and compact metal clip.
