How to order a product on Sportmania?

You can place your order either via the website or by phone.

How to be guided in product selection ?

On most product descriptions, you will find a "tips" section in the left column, which will give you advises for selecting products to suit your practice.

On the other hand, you can always ask us by phone or by email (we will reply within 24 hours). We would be pleased to advise you.

Finally, you have online tools such as the product comparator, allowing you to display all products on one page.

I can not find my size for a given product, what can I do ?

We may find ourselves out of stock on a size for a given product.

We advise you to contact us by email or phone.

This will allow us to find a solution for you. For example, order your size from our supplier.

Can I benefit from lower prices for a product I just ordered ?

Sportmania regularly updates its prices to offer the best in Switzerland. If lower prices occurs within 10 days of your order for a product, Sportmania committed to providing you a voucher in the amount of the difference.

To do so, simply contact us by email or phone and we will send you the voucher as soon as possible.

Delivery

What are the proposed delivery methods ?

Sportmania.ch working with DPD in Switzerland and with GLS for internationl parcels. We offer several shipping methods.

 
Delivery :

  • DPD Classic : Delivery within 48/ 72 h from Monday to Friday
  • GLS Swisspost : International delivery

 

Withdrawal:

How much is delivery ?

Generally, the cost of delivery is free from 200 CHF or 200 EUROS purchases 

Price is all taxes included, you don't need to pay additional custom taxes or VAT at reception : no bad surprises!

* To calculate precisely delivery date, you must select your product (size, color), add to cart, then select delivery country. Sportmania will commit to deliver you before this date. 

** Overcharge for big parcels (lenght>190 cm or >30 kg) -> +30 CHF or 27 EUR

 

What happens if I am not at my home during the delivery ?

If you are not present during the delivery, the postman will leave a calling card showing with a trackng number and a phone.

 You will be able to call this number to choose your reception method:

  • Define a new delivery time : you can choose which day you want to be delivered
  • Define a new delivery address : you can change to your work address or to a friend.
  • Grant delivery without signature : define wich place you authorize parcel to be dropped
  • Pick-up in DPD Parcel shop . You can pick-up your parcel within 7 days at the closest DPD parcel shop. See list of DPD parcel shop.

 

What are delivery times, and how are they committed ?

The delivery time depends on the stock availability and the delivery method chosen. On each product page you will find product availability, with three possible cases:

  • Available on stockmeans the product is in stock at Sportmania. Orders placed Monday through Friday are usually processed and shipped the next day before 16h. Orders placed during the week end are processed and shipped from the following Monday.
  • Available on request : means the product is in stock at our supplier and we can deliver on average within 7 days.
  • Product sold-out : Our supplier is no longer in a position to supply this product.

At Sportmania, we are committed to deliver on time and keep you informed throughout the delivery process. Thus, if a product is unfortunately not available within the time specified, we will contact you immediately to inform you of the delay and offer you a refund without charge if the proposed new date does not suit you, and exceeds by more a week than originally reported.

What should I do if my package is damaged ?

Always remember to check the status of the package upon delivery.

If you find that the package was damaged (ripped packaging, product flush and visibly damaged ..), we advise you not to accept delivery because it is the responsibility of the carrier.

The parcel will be returned and we will provide you with a new product instead.

Sportmania will settle the dispute directly with the carrier.

What if my product has a manufacturing defect ?

We check every product thoroughly before shipment, to guarantee product in perfect condition.

However, if you have a problem with a product ordered from sportmania.ch you must request a return number from our customer service by email or telephone before returning your equipment. We'll show you the steps to exchange the product.

Can I change my mind and cancel my order ?

You get a cooling off period of 10 days from the date of delivery of the package, or 15 days from the date of order, if you choose to collect your goods.

Products must be returned in perfect condition, unused, in their original packaging and accompanied. You must request a return number from our customer service by email or telephone before you return your equipment

You will receive in return a coupon order or a refund. The shipping of the package is at your own costs.

The cooling-off period is not applicable for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized. For example, bindings requiring a specific drilling for a shoe size.

Can I exchange my product for another size ?

You have a cooling off period of 10 days to claim an exchange against a new size. You must request a return number from our customer service by email or telephone before returning your equipment.

In case the requested size is no longer available, we will conduct a credit or a refund following the order cancellation.

In case the requested size is available, we send the product as soon as the initial product has been returned to us. Products must be returned in perfect condition, unused, in their original packaging. You must request a return number from our customer service by email or telephone before you return your equipment

 Only one exchange per customer per order is possible.

The cost of returning to our store are your responsibility.

Costs associated with sending a replacement good is at our expense.

What is the product warranty ?

The products we sell are manufactured by brands known for their reliability. As such, they benefit from a manufacturer's warranty against hidden defects. This warranty is subject to normal use, we will intervene with the manufacturer for your issue is dealt with in the shortest possible time and with the best care.

For ski and snowboard equipment, Sportmania offers breaks insurance in addition to the manufacturer's warranty allows a refund within 15 days (or exchange) of the product, if it is not repairableThis insurance costs 30 CHF for one year and covers the cases related to an injury sustained violently, suddenly and unintentionally. See terms and conditions of insurance proposed by the European Travel Insurance AG. An option against theft and loss is also available for an additional 18 CHFand valid for one year.

Does Sportmania guarantees the confidentiality of data ?

Sportmania complies with legal standards not described the SDPC (Federal Commissioner for Data Protection).

The information provided during the validation of an order (name, address, email ..) are reserved for internal use. You can access them and change them at any time in the "My Account".

The recording of this information in our databases has the sole purpose of facilitating future orders. At no time they will be disclosed to third parties, or entities without your explicit consent.

As for the data bank, they are never stored or kept by the time Sportmania and are sent directly to our bank partners.
