The new Indiana HP Baseplate Alu is milled from hardened T6 6061 aluminum and is therefore very stable and stiff. Thanks to the slots, it only weighs 480 g.
The integrated sacrificial zinc anode prevents the aluminum from oxidizing. The open ends of the plates allow the foil to be quickly mounted/removed from the board without having to completely loosen the screws.
The outer screw spacing corresponds to the industry standard of 90mm x 165mm and the inner spacing is 90mm x 125mm.
