As a true surf gun, this board is made for those who want to charge. Long side cuts radius and long running edges provide stability while still allowing you to carve like no one else. We also created a shorter version for those who want to charge but with less speed. Born from the first globally known Nidecker boards in the 80s, mixing old and new shape and logo.

Although the name comes from Nidecker's distant past there's nothing retro about the 2017 Gun. Heading up Nidecker's SnowSurf collection this mind blowing powerhouse has been built for those riders who want a board that will let them absolutely charge the mountain. Whether hitting Mach 10 on the piste or charging powder stashes, this truly stunning board brings a whole new meaning to stability and power.

Built around a fully directional long powder nose shape it utilises a combination of extended rocker in the front with high rise camber set back on the insets. This delivers the perfect performance for big mountain charging and gives the Gun its unique aggressive looks.

But let's be honest, the Gun needs to be aggressive, thanks to its extended sidecut radius 9m on the 161 and 10 m on the 171, you have to really grasp this board by the neck and bully it down the slope. Do this, and you're in for the ride of your life. Those long hard turns fully lock on ensuring that no matter how fast you go there really is no sign of edge slip or wobble. And the same rings true of the Gun's straight-line performance, this thing is so stable and so reassuring, that at no point during even the fastest straight line runs do you ever feel like it's taking you for a ride.

Internally Nidecker have really pushed the boat out with the Gun. The all-new Nidresponsive core has been specially created to deliver the ultimate response and add both power and drive to the board. To this Nidecker then form the structural layers from a combination of Bi-Ax and Tri-Ax glass. This has been specially laid up to work in harmony with more aggressive foot angles. If you're riding +15-15 then this isn't the board for you, +30 minimum on the front +10 on the back, welcome aboard. Finally the high quality 9900 Sintered base gives a level of glide that is nothing short of lightning fast.
