How to bring together sport, community and the environment
We want to create a community of sportsmen and women who meet, exchange tips, lend or sell their equipment in an affordable and km 0. We want to make a strong contribution to the circular economy and to building a more sustainable, more exciting and less stressful world.
Our clients always asked us these questions :
-«Can you help us find someone to do sports together or do you know someone who organises ski tours or stand up paddle crossings of lakes?»
-«Where can I rent equipment or find it on loan or on trial before buying it?»
-«I have equipment in good condition that I no longer use, can you help us sell it or give it to someone?»
The application we are creating answers all these questions! It is the first application that connects sportsmen and women who share the same passions or people who want to rent or sell their sports equipment.
In more detail, the Sportmania application offers you 4 main functions :
-BUDDY: find new friends with the same passion for sport by filtering by sport, age, gender, level and distance.
-COMMUNITY: organise sports sessions and easily find a team or other people to create epic sports experiences with.
-BUY/SELL: find sports equipment in a few clicks near you.
-RENTAL/LENDING: use the equipment of people close to you at an affordable price.

My project is special because...
We are surrounded by people who have the same interests and passions as we do, but we don't know them or how to contact them. Likewise, in our neighbours' garage there might be the sports equipment of our dreams, but we have neither the time nor the means to search for and find it. With the SportMania app we can finally do all that!
We have a loyal customer base and followers on our social networks who should download it right away. But we need your help to spread the word outside our community in a sustainable way (no billboards, no flyers...). Help us get the ball rolling and get people to use our application. This is why we need your help.
Developing an application with so many features takes a lot of time and money. We have already invested 12 months and many sleepless nights! We need at least another 15,000 CHF for the launch. The launch is planned for May 2023.
