DUOTONE VENTIS WING - LIGHTWIND / FREERIDE

The Ventis, the latest addition to DUOTONE's range of Wing sails for light wind, features innovative design with tapered tips, offering maximum lift and power. This feature allows users to fly while others remain grounded.

Previously, Wing practice in light wind conditions required effective pumping technique. The Ventis changes the game by turning marginal conditions into opportunities with its powerful lift, allowing users to take off without excessive pumping effort.

The two lateral struts stabilize the shape and profile, while reducing wingtip drag, improving maneuverability and stability across the entire wing surface. This results in increased power and lift across the entire wing, while maintaining optimal profile tension, flight stability, and depower. Reduced wingtip drag also minimizes the risk of unintended surface contact, especially during start-up pumping, making sizes 7 and 8 meters more manageable for lightweight or less experienced users.

To optimize the efficiency and performance of the Ventis, DUOTONE has selected lightweight ripstop fabric (50g.), carefully aligning the weave direction on each wing panel to ensure the lightest possible wing, while remaining responsive and high-performing.

The elongated carbon handles enable one-handed navigation, improving maneuverability and precision in maneuvers. Additionally, the angle of the strut profile provides superior ergonomics in navigation, with a more natural hand position and a more extended rear arm, allowing for more comfortable navigation over longer periods.
