The new Radical ski touring pack is specially tailored to the needs and requirements of classic ski tourers who want a simple and effective package for their mountain outings.
The pack includes the new Radical 88 ski. With its 88 mm width at the base, the Radical effectively combines lightness for climbing and good stability on the descent. Thanks to a rocker construction in both tip and tail, the ski is very maneuverable and allows easy turn initiation. The Radical's geometry works in both hard and soft snow conditions, as well as in powder, making it an ideal ski for every trip. The continuous ABS sidewalls ensure excellent force transmission. The longer sidecut also makes the model very forgiving. With a light poplar wood core, the ski combines cushioning and dynamism in a balanced way. The harmonious geometry guarantees good line control at all speeds, for more fun on the slopes.
The Radical 88 ski comes with the matching Radical binding. The ski and binding function as a firm, compact unit. The special Titanal layer in the ski for mounting the binding is shaped to match the Radical touring binding, which guarantees a harmonious flex behavior.
The Radical binding has proven itself for many years as a versatile model for classic touring skiing. It combines robustness, comfort and ease of use. Whether you're hiking close by or racing at high altitudes, the Radical is a practical and reliable solution. The binding has two climbing wedges that you can operate quickly and easily with the pole. The system has a longitudinal adjustment range of 25 mm to accommodate different sole lengths. Both the vertical and lateral release is fully adjustable in a DIN range of 4 to 10. For added safety in icy or hard snow conditions, the Radical touring binding is compatible with the use of knives. Like all DYNAFIT bindings, the Radical is made in Germany and comes with a Lifetime Guarantee.
The package is completed with Radical skins, a quality product made in Switzerland by POMOCA that has outstanding glide and climbing characteristics.
