The Indiana aluminum baseplate is milled from hardened T6 6061 aluminum and therefore very stable and stiff. Thanks to the slots, it only weighs 547 grams. The integrated zinc sacrificial anode prevents the oxidation of the aluminum.
The open ends of the plates allow the foil to be quickly assembled / disassembled from the board without having to remove the screws completely.
The screw distance corresponds to the standard of 9 cm.
