The new Salomon S/Pro SUPRA shoe features a BOA on the lower shell, replacing the two front buckles that many of us don't even bother to tighten. It is offered here in 120 performance flex.

The SUPRA's BOA distributes pressure across the top of the foot, better wrapping the instep and eliminating common pressure points associated with buckles. In turn, you get a high-performance response, the boas are more robust than those found on a snowboard boot or a pair of cycling boots to help withstand the stress of skiing. The Salomon S/Pro SUPRA is marketed as an upgrade to the traditional four-buckle boot, both in terms of performance and ease of use, with the added benefit of saving a little weight.

Don't let the unconventional appearance of the S/Pro SUPRA BOA® buckle fool you. The BOA® system may seem bulky compared to a traditional buckle. Some may have wondered if it "sticks out too much," but extensive testing has shown that it "sticks out" just enough. Just enough to make it easy to adjust the tightness of the boots with gloves, but certainly not enough to disrupt the most difficult carving turns.

Improved instant fit
Cushier foams make it easier to put on, and Talyn® material on the outside simplifies shoe customization, while the elastic toe box naturally adjusts to the available volume.

Fully customizable
With Coreframe 360, you can now customize the collar, shell, and liner to enjoy a custom Salomon shoe.

Custom Shell and Collar HD
The Custom Shell HD process allows the shoe to be fully customized in 10 minutes. The thin walls and new materials bring the shell closer to the foot.

My CustomFit 4D Race
The pre-shaped Race liner provides better foot support and a precise fit. Softer foams and Talyn® material on the outside make for an easier fit. Elastic toe box provides more room for toes.
