Whether on icy north faces, during stormy ascents or severe snowfall on the summit – the ORTLER jacket and pants are our LIGHTWEIGHTS for Alpinists! For the MERINO NAKED SHEEP line we concentrated on the ESSENTIALS. LOW WEIGHT, PROTECTION and COMFORT. The products in this line are light but also robust and comfortable. Just like our naked sheep, here merino wool takes a back seat and is only used in certain areas for increased comfort.

We developed the 3L ORTLER PANTS for your alpine winter! The outer material is completely wind and waterproof thanks to the DERMIZAX®NX membrane, without compromising on breathability or freedom of movement! As with the 3L ORTLER JACKET, we have concentrated on the most important features in our 3L pants for women:

The integrated and reduced gaiters as well as the Cordura protection against sharp edges will do their work even on demanding tours over rocks, ice or snow. The 3D thigh pocket offers plenty of storage space, and the bag’s integrated lightweight carabiner will secure your avalanche transceiver. Adjustable ankle cuffs and the width-adjustable waistband allow for simple and secure fitting, whilst merino mesh inserts in the waistband provide even more comfort. The 3L pants also have a continuous, two-way side zipper. This allows you to perfectly regulate the ventilation and get the ORTLER PANTS on and off quickly.

To save even more weight, we welded the seams with extra thin tapes – these reduce weight without compromising rainproofing. Our 3L hardshell weighs in at just 376 grams (women’s size M), making it perfect for alpine tours.

The NAKED SHEEP is light on expeditions but never takes risks. Like in the new COLLECTION, FUNCTION and PROTECTION are his main focus. It’s the only way that the NAKED SHEEP can adapt to conditions.
