The Blizzard Brahma has been given a complete overhaul for the 2019 season and is better than ever! Blizzard has made some subtle changes to the Brahma that have resulted in improved performance in practically every way you can slice it. Blizzard's Carbon Flipcore Technology has become famous for its ability to retain torsional stiffness and stabilization while building in a maneuverable rocker profile that also smoothens out turn initiation. The Brahma still uses two sheets of metal in its construction and is still a relatively hard charging, responsive ski, although the turn radius has been decreased ever so slightly and the ski now has a more abrupt shovel. This actually makes the ski more responsive than previous versions and with better turn initiation while retaining the power and torsional stiffness the Brahma has been known for. We put out a series of testers on the new Brahma and each one has been excited about the change. It does make slightly quicker turns than the previous version, although definitely still has the ability to open it up and charge down the mountain at high speeds. We'd say it's slightly more versatile and quicker off groomers than the previous Brahma. Definitely a winner of a ski that's holding on to its spot among the highest performing all mountain skis.
