Meet the Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 130 CT GW. A ski boot for both all-mountain skiing and freerides touring. This ready-to-hike boot delivers the legendary feel, skiing power and all mountain capability of Hawx with the touring ability of the Backland. Designed for people with medium feet, Prolite construction delivers more strength with less weight, and a Mimic Platinum liner – a highly customizable liner that molds to the exact shape of your foot, with a Touring Flex Zone for uphill. Complete Tech inserts in both the toe and the heel allow for maximum binding compatibility – along with Frictionless Pivot and Free/Lock 4.0 ski-to-walk mechanism for epic natural movement. The GripWalk soles offer more walking comfort without losing performance while skiing. This is a real one-boot quiver.
Hawx Prime XTD CT and Hawx Prime XTD CT boots are compatible with all GripWalk bindings, MNC bindings, hybrid touring bindings (such as Shift MNC 10 & 13) and TLT-style touring bindings (such as Backland Tour).
Last: 100 mm – Designed for average width feet with average and slightly taller insteps.
Memory Fit – Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.
Adaptive Fit Cuff System – These boots come with a special spoiler in the back of the cuff. If you want a classic, cozy fit around the calf you can just leave the spoiler in. If you want more volume you can take the spoiler out. This makes the boot cuff slightly lower at the back, more tuliped and more open (equivalent to one cuff size larger). It's quick, easy and you don't need tools.
