| Specificities | ADJUSTABLE VISOR SETTING Few visor helmets are truly compatible with prescription glasses, but our Adjustable Visor Setting solves the problem. Skiers without eyewear can choose the Vision setting, which keeps the visor’s lower edge close to the face and helmet for a tight closure and great vertical eld of vision. Those who do wear glasses can choose the OTG (Over The Glasses) setting, which pivots the visor to give 8mm of additional space without compromising eld of vision or visor closure.
AMID AMID stands for Atomic Multi-directional Impact De ector and is our own development. It’s a revolutionary dual- density foam system which is fixed to the helmet’s core and free to move in all directions. This means better protection against impacts from all directions – as the foam cushions energy right at impact, then continues to de ect energy away from the head through its movement. By absorbing energy through the whole impact, it provides a new level of protection, whether the impact is high speed or low speed, direct or angled.
HD TECHNOLOGY HD (High Definition) lens technology has all the advantages of Stereo lenses (nine layers of high-end mirror coating to increase protection from glare and reduce eye fatigue), giving crystal clear visibility in all light conditions. In addition, crystals in the lens divide white light into its six spectral colors. The lens then enhances the sensitive ones, so you see everything in high-de nition contrast and get a greater sense of depth, making these the best performing lenses in the widest range of light conditions.
LIVE FIT Live Fit pads form a wide band of memory foam that adapts precisely to your head for instant individual fit. This soft, cushioned layer provides all-day comfort out on the mountain, as well as extra protection capable of dampening low level impacts before the shocks can reach your head.
HOLO CORE This unique ‘egg-carton’ construction creates an extended crumple zone for maximized shock absorption. It also comes with ventilation holes so it’s cooler and lighter. This means up to 30% higher impact protection than industry safety standards require.
