We have an all-new furtis for 2016 which is now made of 100% composite material. Maintaining a 22 mm diameter, this composite tube has been specially developed by black crows. The result is a highly resistant and ultra-light tube, with a slightly elasticised structure to help absorb impact. The composite furtis maintains the imposing aesthetic quality of its predecessor with noticeable improvements in lightness and equilibrium.
Fitted with the squadron basket and egg-ski tip system, a fixing system on a swivelling ball which allows immediate adjustment to the gradient of the slope and different terrain. This model is a formidable mountain companion. Its ‘black’ and minimalistic allure makes it stand out from the crowds.
With a long grip that runs down a third of the pole so you can seize it well in any situation, the furtis has a detachable wrist-strap system for anyone who wants to detach them.

Bien choisir ses bâtons : comment choisir la taille de bâtons de ski de fond?
Le choix du bâton est très important en ski de fond. Si celui est trop court ou trop long vous aurez beaucoup de mal à skier correctement.
* Un bâton de classique doit s'arrêter au niveau de l'épaule, il correspond en général à la taille du skieur moins 30cm. On se sert aussi d'une formule mathématique pour acheter son bâton : taille * 0.83
* Un bâton de skating sera plus long et s'arrêtera au niveau du menton. Il correspond à la taille du pratiquant moins 20cm. La formule mathématique utilisée sera cette fois taille * 0.89
Les fabricants utilisent différents matériaux pour les bâtons :
L'aluminium qui est l'entrée de gamme donne un matériel lourd mais aussi solide. Le composite fibre de verre carbone est plus léger mais moins rigide.
Le meilleur choix possible c'est le bâton en carbone, très solide, rigide et léger, il offre le meilleur compromis mais coûte un plus cher que les autres.
