The Grizzly 52 is Bear's all round truck. The trucks are cast using a special casting formula to maximize strength and the axles are straightened post production.
We've found that a 181mm axle width along with a 52 degree baseplate is optimum for all round longboarding. The hanger also has a 5 degree rake making it either 57 or 47 degrees. Having this option allows you to customize your set up to your own specifications. We recommend not flipping the hangers if you want a nice and turny freeride set up. However, if you are looking for a more downhill oriented set up we recommend you flip the rear hanger. This offers maximum stability while still providing a great amount of turn from the front truck. If an even more stable set up is necessary we recommend checking out the Bear 840's!
