Are you looking for a freeride, freestyle, all-mountain snowboard? How to choose your snowboard?

Find the right snowboard for your practice at Sportmania! The choice of snowboard depends first of all on its practice:

Freestyle snowboards, also called park boards, are more flexible, lighter and shorter. They are more manoeuvrable and allow you to send big tricks in the snowparks or to slid on rails or boxes. They have a twin tip shape so you can use the board in both directions, you can ride normal or switch.

All-mountain snowboards are the most popular, if you don't know which board to turn to it's probably the best choice. These boards are made to ride in all conditions, on the piste, freeride or in the snowparks. All-mountain snowboards generally have a directional or twin directional shape and are of medium stiffness, they are suitable for most people.

Freeride snowboards are ideal for powder snow, they have a medium to hard flex. They are snoeboards with directional shapes, with a longer nose and where the bindings are shifted backwards to make it easier to ride in powder. All freeride boards used to be longer and wider for more lift in powder. Today brands are also making freeride boards that are wider and shorter and can be chosen 10cm shorter than a traditional freeride board.

Splitboards are designed for touring, they split in 2 on the way up and can be used as 2 skis. The 2 parts come together at the top and the splitboard is then used like a normal snowboard. In general, they have the same specificities as freeride snowboards.

Women's snowboards are adapted to the female morphology. They are generally more flexible than men's snowboards, less wide and shorter.
