The Stand Up Paddle Makai Moana 12'6 Touring bamboo ist the flagship model among the Makai boards. Perfect for long trips and active paddling. It is the performance board for a very attractive price. The width of 75 cm gives the board a perfectly streamlined shape, the PUA is agile and with a great wood design. Those who have tried the PUA will be able to tell how smooth and easy it glides over the water.
MAkai gave this board a new name. MOANA means “Ocean” in Hawaiian, they replaced the wood look with bamboo (top and bottom). It will look like the HONU but instead of turquoise it will have a “king blue” color and will not have a turtle design The deepening (Concave) along the standing area will not be done in two parts anymore. Advantages are, better movement on the board, a better handle can be placed, and it will also be more comfortable to lay down once in a wile ͬͭͮͯ Small change on the shape to make the board even more stable (more volume)
