Starboard Paddle Race Lima Tiki Tech Wave S40 Vario Hybrid carbon-S

The Stand Up Paddle Starboard Lima Wave paddle equipped with the Tiki Tech blade in size S is particularly suitable for  people who want to do long distance and Race.

The weight is 728 gr only.

The Lima Tiki Tech blade is constructed with an Armacell foam core which is a material made from recycled plastic bottles. Tiki Tech technology removes a layer and thus reduces the weight of the blade. Its 4 concaves naturally come to place the paddle in the water which makes it possible to paddle with more frequency and less concentration. She forgives gesture errors more which makes her ideal for a Race practice.

A carbon stringer is located along the entire length of the blade to optimize its flex and response. The blade is also reinforced at the neck for more rigidity. The double concave allows you to be precise and powerful with each stroke of the paddle. And the ABS field contributes of course to its solidity.

Its carbon hybrid handle allows for a lighter and more technical paddle than a classic aluminum paddle. It is round and grooved for better grip. 

The Lima Tiki Tech is delivered with an adjustable handle. The adjustment is made using a graduation present on the handle. The groove along the strand keeps the handle parallel to the blade.

All Starboard paddles are also equipped with a strap with a hook to be able to more easily pick up plastic bags or other detritus that you come across on the water.

Easier catch

The new rounded tip of the blade has a small area hitting the water during the entry. The result is a smooth penetration in the water thus reducing the impact on your body, especially on the shoulders.The rounded tip creates a progressive load of the blade during the entry in the water instead of a sudden high impact creating a lot of stress on the paddle and your body.  Reducing the stress on the body allows one to paddle longer and more often with less recovery time.

Direct catch

The double concave on the power face is guiding the water throughout the blade controlling the wobbling and increasing the water flow speed. The edge defining the double concave starts round-shaped at the tip of the blade to separate the water smoothly. It then becomes sharper to dictate the water its path and stabilize the blade. All your power is transferred in a straight forward motion as you don’t need to worry about paddle alignment in the water anymore.

Unique profile

The lima has a unique narrow and flat profile allowing you to pull the blade very close to the rail of the board, giving it a really nice line.Combine to a 10° angle, the power phase is very efficient making all your energy going in a straight forward motion.

Trash Picker included

Use the trash picker as a helpful tool to pick up plastic and other trash while paddling. It's made from recycled plastic and comes with every paddle. Store the trash in a bag or pocket it until you reach shore.
