Snowboard equipment offered on our website comes waxed and sharpened at the factory. It is immediately ready for the slopes. This preparation is not definitive, to maintain performance, sole and edge must be cared on a regular basis.
When preparing your order by our shipping department, the bindings are not yet adjusted to be used immediately. You will have, using a screwdriver, replace the bindings according to your usual practice.
First you must place them in the direction you want, Goofy (right foot forward) or Regular (left foot forward). Then you will have to make an adjustment in your stance (distance between the feet) and then proceed to setting angles, that is to say, the orientation of the bindings on the board.
All products have a manufacturer's warranty, to the extent that the failure of the product can be attributed to a manufacturing defect (apparent or hidden defects).
The manufacturer warranty period is normally one year but there are some exceptions (warranty that may extend beyond one year).
The qualification of "manufacturing defect" or "failure to use" can only be determined by the manufacturer itself, Sportmania serving only as an intermediary in resolving these problems.
A lack of use does not benefit from the manufacturer's warranty.
For this reason, Sportmania offers an optional damage insurance, see conditions.
How to maintain my equipment ?
Proper maintenance of its equipment is necessary to preserve a good quality of slides and optimal grip. The frequency of maintenance depends on the time of use and the general condition of the base and edges. It is advisable to waxing his board about every 10 exits and the beginning of the season. The edges should be sharpened once or twice per season to maintain a good grip, make sure any time was not to sharpen your edges more than necessary because the sharpening of these removes material.
When your sole has minor scratches or missing due to shocks or other rocks, it is possible to fill them by taking a molding.
These repair operations and maintenance can be done byprofessionals with appropriate machines or by yourself by equipping you some tools and materials, such as wax for skiing, nalten for filling the holes in the sole, edge sharpener etc ...
