Description provided by Blizzard
The Zero G 95 has a first descent on the world’s highest, biggest line—the Lhotse Couloir in Nepal’s Himalayas. Ski mountaineers Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison requested Blizzard’s Zero G 95 when they set out to summit the 27,940-foot-peak, and indeed, the skis got the pair down safely—not to mention the high-altitude pow turns they scored! Your backcountry adventure may be closer to home, but you can still reap the benefits of Austrian engineering that delivers the best downhill performance for the weight. Carbon Drive 2.0 paired with an ultra-light paulownia woodcore ensure efficiency on the skin track, while maintaining strength, a solid edge grip and a stable feel for the descent.
The Sportmania opinion:
The Zero 95 was a huge buzz at the time of its release 3 years ago, because it constituted a record in terms of dimensions / weight, and it largely influenced other brands towards this choice. Knowledge, that hikers on high altitude also want a nice tool for the descent, and do not compromise on pleasure in powder. The Zero G 95 is therefore a means of hiking and an incredible success, to the point of declining in several colors, which is rare enough to be emphasized. The Zero G 95 will appeal to good skiers with its very incisive side. It holds the course, the tip is very present and does not move, the heel also provides a very good seat while giving off a little power at the end of the turn. What else?
