The shoe effectively marries two worlds that everything seems to oppose at first glance: freedom of movement on the way up and rigidity on the way down. In walking mode, the collar and shell are separated from each other to facilitate ascents. A 60° movement of the upper guarantees all the necessary mobility and comfort. The low weight of the shoe (1380g in size 26.5) and the flexible construction of the tongue, made of two high-tech plastics, promote natural and economical walking, even on steep terrain. The new liner, with thermoforming option, combines precision, stability and comfort in the best possible way, right from the first seconds in the shoe. This way you can tackle longer distances and more elevation changes.
One move to switch technology: Once you reach the top, the Radical Pro transforms into a stable and direct downhill boot with a single move thanks to the patented Hoji Lock system. In ski mode, the boot locks with an 11° forward tilt. The buckles and the Ultra Lock strap are connected to the Ski/Walk mechanism by a cable system. Simply pull the lever to lock the device in the ski position. The collar and shell form a firm, precise unit with no play. This unique concept on the market means that you can feel confident and efficient on every run, as you would normally expect from alpine ski boots.
Your foot is securely held and wrapped in the boot thanks to the Ultra Lock strap and the three finely tuned buckles. With a flex of 120, you have everything you need to attack your runs with determination, even on steep terrain. The Pro Driving spoiler increases downhill performance. The shoe is made of high performance Grilamid and is entirely made in Italy.
