Over the past few years, the Duotone Unit has established itself as a leader in wing design. With the 2024 model, Duotone raises the level thanks to the integration of an elongated carbon front handle, which facilitates one-handed piloting, a redesigned central strut, and precise adjustments to the outline for unprecedented piloting comfort. Ken Winner, the designer, has refined the angle of the central strut near the handle to allow for a more natural navigation posture, reducing the fatigue of the back arm. This optimization is particularly appreciated in "toe side" navigation.
A major novelty also lies in the integration of a much longer carbon front handle, radically changing the way of piloting the wing with one hand and thus introducing a revolutionary navigation comfort, opening the door to new maneuvers.
The additional adjustments made to the outline, curvature, as well as the twist and tension of the MOD3 sail, give the Unit increased precision and stability when under tension, while improving its neutrality when released in the waves.
