Sweaty ascents, steep descents: we've specially developed the COL BECCHEI JACKET for women for demanding ski touring in alpine terrain.

To make this ski touring jacket with its athletic cut particularly light, elastic and robust, we use MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT as the main material: it ensures excellent breathability and high elasticity, while also having a windproof effect. On the inside back, Tasmanian Merino wool offers great comfort and naturally regulates both temperature and humidity. At the front, technical inserts made from a special three-layer WARP KNIT material with a windproof membrane protect against the elements while remaining breathable. Air pockets in the fabric ensure optimum insulation. To respect the environment, the jacket is PFC-free and climate-neutral.

The details are adapted to demanding alpine terrain: the close-fitting hood protects the head from the cold and slips easily under the helmet. Ventilation zips under the arms keep you cool on strenuous climbs, while elastic cuffs keep out drafts and snow. Pockets are optimized for easy access with a backpack.

Material

schoeller® c_change ™ membrane
The active membrane is not only windproof and waterproof, but also "intelligent". Like a pine cone that opens when it's hot outside and closes when the temperature drops, the membrane reacts immediately to perspiration thanks to a special moisture and temperature management system. In other words, the membrane's molecular structure can adapt to different temperatures. If the body warms up strongly, the polymer structure opens up to regulate temperature and perspiration. When it's cold, the polymer structure closes. This mechanism leads to insulating behavior that adapts directly to body and ambient temperature.

MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT
Merino wool is directly interwoven with schoeller® material to form ORTOVOX NATURETEC LIGHT. This symbiosis of merino wool and abrasion-resistant polyamide is extremely tough and stretchy, making it ideal for intensive sports. Merino wool in contact with the skin offers great comfort and regulates body temperature, while polyamide offers protection against wind and light rain.
