Information from Dynastar:
Step outside the box. Specifically designed for making your own tracks on skins and discovering backcountry terrain, the Dynastar M-Tour 86 provides a playful feel for both short and long rides. Combined with underfoot edges, the lightweight paulownia wood core provides a light, confident feel in a variety of backcountry conditions.
PAULOWNIA CORE
A 300g/m3 density core, it reduces the weight of the ski by an average of 15 to 20% compared to the poplar core. With similar mechanical properties, it is a must for Touring/Free Touring.
TIP ROCKER
Moderate rocker in the tip only. It facilitates the flat pivot while combining smoothness and tolerance in the curves. The lift is moderate so that once the ski is on edge, the ski works in the curve over the entire contact length of the edges.
CENTRAL SIDEWALL CONSTRUCTION
Sandwich construction in the middle of the ski, the sidewalls under the skier's foot provide performance and precision. CAP construction at the ends makes the skis lighter and easier to turn.

Sportmania opinion:
The M-Tour range is reserved for the practice of freetouring. We will find the M-tour 86 at the narrowest of the freetouring range, for those who seek a light ski for long races. It is therefore an agile, versatile and high-performance ski ideal for touring on all terrains.
