The skis of the Prodigy range are intended for all-mountain practice but with certain freestyle or freeride specificities depending on the model. All Prodigys are built the same with the same technologies. They have a Twin Directional shape with two rockers at the ends which give it good behavior and good handling on all types of snow, forward and backward. Only the core and the dimension lines vary from one model to another.
With its 98mm waistband, the Prodigy 2.0 X is the most versatile ski in the range. Thanks to its poplar core, it is lively, light and has a very good pop, essential for a backcountry freestyle practice worthy of the name. With that, you just need to press a little on the slats to take advantage of a great restitution of energy and thus to make jumps and crossing of bars always bigger.
The XL edges, the ultra-solid edges and the anti-shatter micro-cap coating guarantee a prolonged life of the ski and performance that remains the same over time.
Impossible to imagine a few years ago, we end up with ultra versatile skis that will cover the entire mountain! The Prodigy range focuses on a playful spirit while providing good performance if you attack a little.
Thus, the Prodigy 2.0 X is a true all-round ski! In the air, it is well balanced, tip and tail have a very playful character. Comfortable as soon as it leaves the groomed slopes, it is even more so in powder snow. Its intermediate dimensions will allow you to please yourself, with a good ability to plane and float. Less exclusive than the Candide 2.0 X, it will be more accessible to intermediate to advanced skiers, with more fun DNA at a more affordable price.
Technical characteristics
Dimension lines: 127/98/119 mm in size 165cm
Weight: 3300g in size 165cm
Bend radius: 14m

Shape:
Directional Twin:
The tail is considerably thinner than the tip to provide an optimal level of alpine performance and to attack in all circumstances. The twin heel is an invitation to adopt a player and freestyle style, the switch ride being thus perfectly accessible.
Construction :
Poplar core:
Poplar is a light colored, light and strong softwood that has good flex and pop, as well as a great ability to absorb vibrations. When used alone, this wood provides pop, allows for easy butters and offers great landing stability, three attributes necessary for a park ski, but also the torsional stability required for good grip. edge on the slopes.
Full Strength Sidewall:
Full strength sidewall is a construction that applies layers of protective material along the edges of the sidewall, between the edge and the top topsheet. The edges provide the best possible stability and grip when the ski negotiates a turn, while protecting the wood core, edges and cover sheet from possible exterior impacts and damage.
XL 2.5 mm edges:
You might think that seven tenths of a millimeter doesn't mean much, but when it comes to edges, everything matters. The 2.5mm edges are 35% thicker than our standard 1.8mm edges, which are already very strong. This addition of steel allows riders to have a ski that will withstand the "aggressions" associated with certain practices for longer.
Surf Zones:
Surf Zone technology was designed to combine rocker and tapered tip shape to ensure these two key parameters work in perfect harmony. The Rocker provides lift and facilitates the pivoting of the ski, while the Tapered Tip (tapered tips) allow the widest part of the ski to be pushed back towards the center and thus reduce the risk of inadvertent catching of the edge. This technology provides excellent lift and smoothness, whatever the conditions.
Micro-Cap Anti Shattering:
The micro cap is a hybrid construction that combines the premium edge sandwich construction, which is fused with a lightweight and durable cap construction. Thanks to the micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides exceptional edge hold and torsional stability while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise chip in the event of an impact.
