At 85mm underfoot, the Zero G 85 is your weapon of choice for long days on the skin track and early morning uphill workouts alike. While remaining narrow and light for crushing vert, an updated iteration of Blizzard’s proven Carbon Drive technology in version 3.0 provides for a more consistent, stable feel on the descent. So whether you’re high in the alpine chasing consequential lines or just trying to stay fit and have fun, you can count on the Zero G 85 to rise to every occasion, just as you do.
Sportmania's opinion: For skiers who are looking for a lightweight, high-performance touring ski, the Zero G 85 from Blizzard is the answer. A ski that is light underfoot for ascents over 1,000m, and reassuringly reliable in difficult terrain. With a fairly straight sidecut, it facilitates steep passages where contact with the ski must be the most important in order not to stall. Serious, light, but also demanding, it is the revered weapon for the real hikers.
The Carbon Drive 3.0 is the technology upgrade of the Carbon Drive 2.0 technology: a full length 3D shaped unidirectional carbon fiber chassis running through the entire length of the ski, combined with an ultra-light pawlonia woodcore (Zero G 85, 95) or ISO/BEECH/POPPLAR core (Zero G 105): this combination guarantees a super lite construction keeping the necessary structure for performance.
Ensures optimal torsional rigidity and flex, placing the carbon in those area where it is really needed.
